Arrive Home – Post Holiday Blues

Arrive home to Melbourne on our complimentary business class flight which was fantastic, thank you Jetstar.  Melbourne has put on the most beautiful sunny Melbourne spring day for our return.

Its too nice to be indoors but I am afraid to say, I need a nanna nap. I spend most of the rest of the day unpacking, cleaning the house and sorting out a few bits and pieces for the working week. Boy, straight back to life’s drudgery.

Sunday also turns on the weather and we have plans to take Alex’s mum up to the hills for scones at Sassafras which is about a 20 minute drive from us to the east of Melbourne. Alex’s brother joins us also for the afternoon.  Its a nice way to spend an afternoon.

We arrive home about 5:00pm and settle down to watch the Richmond game (ie Aussie Rules – officially known as the Australian Football League or “AFL”).

Sadly Monday morning inevitable arrives and, as usual, struggle out of bed.  It was my friend’s birthday yesterday and the girls went out for lunch to celebrate.  Its was also my 3 year anniversary with Alex.  We didn’t go out for lunch to celebrate…just kidding Alex.  Happy anniversary Alex.[showmyads]
