Hoover Dam – Lake Mead side
It is 8:00am on a Tuesday morning in a hotel room at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.
Alex and I need to get off to an early(ish) start as it will take about 5 hours for us to drive to the Grand Canyon.

This is where magic happens
Alex and I are nearing the end of our two wonderful weeks in New York but we have saved a few big ticket items for last.
We have pre-purchased tickets for tonight’s performance of The Lion King at the Minskoff Theatre. I am anticipating this will be another New York City highlight as I have only ever heard excellent reviews. After the theatre we are going to the observation deck of the Empire State Building.
