Vietnam Series: Ha Long Bay, Vietnam – a magnificent World Heritage Site

Last night I stayed at the Saigon Ha Long Hotel in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.  It’s now morning and I wake to a most beautiful sunny day.  I send the following text message to Alex to update him about the trip…

“My news: Got motorbikes yesterday and managed to have accident with car. Few bruises and will be able to laugh about it one day. Managed to ride 100km but have given it away as a bad joke and on bus and train now. Going on Junk next two days. Scenery gorgeous.” Continue reading

Want to know what is going on at the Australian Open, the Hilton Hotel and South Wharf, Melbourne, Australia?

I won’t deny I love living in Melbourne.

It is a fantastic thing about a place where you live when you continue to discover new precincts/areas and things to do.  This is what Alex and I experienced this weekend when we went to the Australian Open at Melbourne Park and stayed at the Hilton Hotel, South Wharf, Melbourne. Continue reading

Like a sunrise…coming into Darling Harbour
