On Trend Attraction: Eureka Skydeck 88 and Edge Experience, Melbourne, Australia

Eurekea Skydeck 88 - photo courtesy of eurekaskydeck.com.auEven as a Melbournian I loved this attraction as it gives you a different aspect of all those other Melbourne attractions you thought you knew.  For the extra cost we did the Edge Experience and while it is a cool thing to do, it is probably not essential.  I would suggest you go late afternoon so that you can see the city in daylight, stay a while and you can take in the night view and gain two different perspectives from the same view.

Eureka Skydeck 88
Skydeck experience – The Skydeck Experience was created to reach for the sky, nothing you have ever experienced will prepare you for the awe inspiring view of Melbourne from the Southern Hemisphere’s highest viewing platform.
Edge Experience – “The Edge” – a glass cube which projects 3 metres out from the building – with you in it – suspended almost 300 metres above the ground! The Edge is located on Level 88 and the cost is additional to Skydeck Admission. (owner extract and photo courtesy of Eureka Skydeck)
