I spend some time when we get back actually catching up on some blogging and before I know it its 7:00pm and we need to think about dinner…what’s there to think about…so we get ready and make our way to the Cascades Dining Room for our usual 3 course dinner (and glass of red wine …of course). We organise for room service breakfast which we enjoy on our balcony.
By this time (7:30am) we have anchored a couple of kilometres off the coast of Airlie Beach. Since leaving Brisbane (south east Queensland) we have been making our way up the east coast of Australia to north Queensland, to the small coastal township of Airlie Beach. Today our Cruise Compass tells us it will be “partly cloudy skies” and a “70% chance of precipitation” – temperature 27oC. Continue reading
We are back to the Cascades Dining Room for dinner and tonight’s meal is lovely so all is forgiven for consequences of last night’s crab cake.
We are seated next to two ladies from the United Kingdom and, together with our amusing Indian waiter it is a fun meal. We actually lose track of time and end up missing out on going to the show in the theatre tonight so we alter our plans and make a quick detour to the casino…(not problem gamblers). Anyway, Alex managed to win US$40 on roulette…good one Alex. Continue reading
